The Hidden Me Poem

I wrote this poem for a couple reasons but the main reason was to tell everyone who I really am. As a person and as a man this is me and this is who I am! If you don't like it then bitch boo bye!! I have spent so many years giving people what they wanted and doing things because other people wanted me to do it. I am so done with it and I am now doing what is is that I want to do and I LOVE IT!!!!! HERE IS THE POEM I TITLED THE HIDDEN ME:

Its been in me
Its been here
My heart has felt it
Now its here
What i have loved all these years
I been denying and shedding tears
Let people tell me who i should be
Listened to everyone but me
Let people tell me what to do
didn't love me and heres the proofs
low self-esteem, anger and rage
I felt for anyone who came my way
but its time for me to let go and
its time for you all to know
that this is me love me or hate me
but i got to do my own thang baby
so im letting it out and
letting it go
heres the new me you have to know
my name is marquan im 18 years old and
im gay if you didnt know
dont ask me why dont ask me how
this was the hidden me for 18 years now
now its out and now its free
i dont care if you dont like me
cuz i look in the mirror and
im happy with what i see
young, black, and gay
yep thats ME!
