The New Age of Music

Since the beginning of time music has had a huge influence on people. Music helps with everything from emotions, to politics and everything in-between. However over time music has changed quite a bit! Way back in the day music used to have real instruments being played and they used real singers voices! Amazing right! There was no auto tune and tricks a artist could use to make their voice sound better. It was simply if you can sing you can sing and if you cant then cant. Way back in the day music used to have a meaning to it. It used to make you feel something when you listened to it. When is the last time you heard a song on the radio and it made u want to cry or it made you think of that special person or made you want to dance. DON’T WORRY I’LL WAIT FOR YOU TO ANSWER THAT! My answer uuummm never! All I am saying is that music has lost its way. We have strayed away from the music that used to mean something to music that just a hot beat and makes you dance for 5 minutes. Whatever happen to the artist like earth wind and fire, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Elvis, Diana Ross, The Beatles etc. these were true artist they sang with their real singing voice and they entertained us without being half naked or having half naked females in our faces. These were true artist and singers. All I’m saying is that music has lost its way, it has lost the emotion and the realness that it used to have. My messages for all the artist our there is get real! Stop hiding behind the auto tune if you cant sing then you should not be in this industry! Leave the naked women behind and write a song that will help educate the youth and make people feel good inside. It is time for us to take music back to what it is suppose to be. Time to RESURRECT MUSIC!
